Right now I have to use vpn and the native nba tv on my atv to watch and so much is under black out rules. Would be cool to have the option of getting it on the tv with better quality than the airplay options.

I'm a newb to XBMC and there's so much great information on here, I just wish I had the programing know how to help out but unfortunately that's not the case. I would really love to see this add-on though, I know its a short season so even more of a reason. Hope someone can throw this together soon.

this morning i found a NBA League Pass plugin... In the bluecop repository, but it doesn't work for may. Maybe it's a difference between League Pass and International League Pass? (i'm in belgium)
When i launch i get a python script error.

Hi,

it works for the International League Pass only (archived, condensed and game recaps/highlights) . The US version uses completely different servers and security credentials.
you need httplib2 and Eden for my plugin to work..

take a look at the thread from page 2 onwards

ah, then it's prolly Eden that's my problem since i'm still running Dharma.
Also, i'm using OpenElec (don't know if you know it?)... Would simply updating to the Eden build of OpenElec solve my problem? Cuz in the script I see mentions of Firefox etc...

seeing and understanding a script are two different things :-)
that's only the user agent http header field info (set to Firefox > you can set any value you like :-)
no external program is used... a simple update to Eden should make the plugin run on OpenElec (btw: I am running xbmc on a lubuntu AMD E450 MSI Windbox, lubuntu also uses lxde window manager like OpenElec)

Not the most elegant solution, but I set this up as a workaround...

I've actually done it all via Vox Commando since then so that I don't meed Eventghost to do it anymore. Sadly I never kept my eventghost tree, but if you don't already have Voxcommando then you should try it out (there is a free trial and it's only around 15-20 dollars). Voxcommando got me into home automation in a big way, if you look through my other videos you'll see some demonstrations of what else I've done with it (lights, XBMC control, weather updates via TTS).

If anyone is interested in my Vox Commando commands for the purposes of loading up the NBA page and logging you in then drop me a message and I'll email it you.

Thanks,

-P

I also join the request for the plugin. It would be really nice to watch NBA games on Raspbmc Wink
