Windows 7 trouble
#1
Hi

Im having some problems with running xbmc in win7 pro.

It starts when I use the beta, but hangs after a couple of hours, and in like 10 minutes if I play a video in HD quality.

When using stable, it wount start at all, gives me the:
"MS default OpenGL drivers detected..." error..

My videocard is a integrated ATI Radeon X1250 HDMI, so its kinda old, I cant get other drivers for it than the one from microsoft! (checked guru3d.com and ati.amd.com)

I had no xbmc related problems while running xp pro, using stable, but other things made me switch to win7, and I really dont want to go back!

Any help is greatly appreciated! Smile

Nevermind, seems like I solved it! Smile

I adjusted the Video Memory size in my BIOS from 128mb, to 512mb, weird since it worked in xp, but probably has something to do with the lack of good graphic drivers!

Nope, left the computer on while I was at work, playing a 720p mkv movie in xbmc beta, and when I got home the screen was totally scrambled, and computer was locked..

Playing the same movie file in VLC works fine..

So if anyone have seen something similar, please let me know!
