ComSkip commercial skipping
#46
Is there any future plan to have some sort of indicator within XBMC that would show which files have comskip files and which don't?

Also, would we be able to turn this feature off in case the comskip files were inaccurate (and skipping parts of shows)?

Thanks again.

Pressing the Black button (Title on the remote) will show the some information regarding the currently playing video stream, such as codecs, framerate and so on. The edl update adds the following edl info to this screen:

- added 'edl:n:b:eConfused to video status screen, with the following meaning:
n: no edl/scenemarkers
b: edl and scenemarkers
s: scenemarkers
e: edl

This is defintely helpful. So I'm assuming there is no off/on option for this yet?

Thanks DrDDT

Currently the only way to not-use an EDL is not having one.
You have to delete or rename it.

A work around currently might be using scenemarkers. A scenemarker may be placed inside a cutpoint.
