Hi. I have a problem with russian at OSDs.

It seems like a mix of upper/lower case without any logic reason Smile

See the included screenshot to see what I mean.

Happens with confluence, windows7, 9.11 beta2. Music's OSD title field is a good example. After some investigation I've found that it's probably limited to fields using the DefaultCaps.ttf font.

Going to settings-->appearance and changing the font set to arial or default_nocups fixes this but things looks best at the default setting, so it's only an intermediate solution. Is it some known issue? Is there a workaround?

Thanks.

Things look way better WITHOUT THE CAPS.

You'll need to edit the font to suit. I believe FontForge is used for this.

If you make the changes (essentially you're replacing the lowercase chars with uppercase chars in the font) then please post the changed font file on trac so that others can benefit.

Cheers,
Jonathan
