Hi, I am considering moving from an OSX based media PC to a Linux based system. The OSX system works pretty well but I think I under sized the CPU (low end dual core intel) as there are some slight flaws in video play back. I'm not sure what the correct term would be but there seems to be a horizontal line where the screen does not get refreshed all at once. The top half and the bottom are out of sync or different frames. The playback on the linux with Nvidia h/w support is much better. Two other key capabilities are playing music from my itunes library on my mac and displaying photos from my iPhoto library.

I tested the live CD by installing Eyeconnect uPNP server on my mac and it worked well. I then installed the live CD to a 1TB drive. Now when I try and add a uPNP source it does not see any uPNP devices.

I turned debuging on and there is nothing related to upnp in the log.

Ant tips for trouble shooting upnp would be appreciated
