Is the MacMini connected to a real display or are you vnc'ing in to start it up. I see OSXvnc-server running.

Is xbmc set to auto start on boot ?

It is connected to a 1080P LCD, but since it's at home and I'm at work I am in fact VNC'ing right now. I was(No longer is) set to open on login.

Is the 1080P LCD powered up and on ?

MacMini's have a particular quirk, if you don't have the display powered up and on, then you don't get hardware accelerated opengl, in fact most open gl app will just die as they can't do the normal gl setup. Your log indicates "GL_RENDERER = Apple Software Renderer" which XBMC cannot use.

Please re-test with the Display connected and powered up.

Beauty! I had to disconnect and reconnect my mini-DP adapter but now it works. I couldn't be happier. funny that the mac mini had the edid information (1080P@60) but didn't actually have a connection.
