Mine had one stick of PC2-6400 DDR2 (800mhz) notebook ram. It has two slots so you can just add another gig stick of the same type. I actually threw in 2 1gig sticks of pc2-5300 I had laying around which seems to work just fine. The R3600 with the 330 comes with pc2-5300 so I'm fairly certain that ram is supported just fine by the chipset and processor in the R1600.
