I searched but came up empty.

I am used to Zoom Player, Media Player Classic, and VLC, (Heck even PowerDVD allows me to watch in a FULL screen.) and they all allow video resizing. Am I missing something in XBMC? I don't like having a movie play with 4-8 inches of black screen over and under, or on the sides of the movie I am watching. (That defeats the purpose of having a 58" plasma TV.)

z key toggles through the zoom modes.

you can use the on-screen player controls to adjust the video to custom, but you have to understand that it will cut the sides of the video. I just adjusted the custom display to my liking. I still have a little black on top and bottom but have much more video now..
