[LIVE] VDPAU problem in 9.11 RC1
#1
Hi all,

After installing Live 9.11 Rc1 I get problem with the hardware acceleration of my videos. I have before this been using 9.04 and 9.11 B2, and in both of these there was no prblem with the VDPAU option beeing used.

This is running on an Asus eee box 1501 (Atom N330 / ION) Live is installed on a USB memory.

I've made an xbmc log file, and a little bit down in it I can see the following

The movie being started is an mkv file of 720p 60Hz material. But it does the same for any material.

I'm not sure why this is. I'm also not sure if one should post a bug fix for something like this.

9.11 beta 2 was also quite good, but that one used the XF86Config file for resolution settings, and that file can not be edited, so that I can't use. to bad.

Does any one have any suggestions? I'll think that in the mean time I'll roll back to 9.04 with special ION driver, that one seems to be the best yet.

Ooops, sorry didn't read enough.

I've now solved this, using this thread:

Worked just fine.
