What version of lame does cdripper use?

as the topic says, a few audio encoding related q's:

1. what version of lame does xbmc's cdripper use?

2. what syntax does the presets use? fast or normal?

i done some reading at hydrogenaudio.com, and the suggested version was 3.90.3? with --alt preset std, of course Cool

by looking at the config.h in liblame it is 3.97.

believe it was 3.97 or so
and lame supports the following presets ( which can be set in xbmc settings)

--preset medium
--preset standard
--preset extreme

but do either of you know wheather or not it uses the fast syntax (--alt preset fast medium/standard/extreme)? meaning does the presets use vbr mrth or vbr new?

it's only 'lame --preset standard', withouth the fast
