I have ripped a DVD to a Theora (.ogm) file, which has no sound when played in XBMC.
Sound in XBMC works as vorbis music files (.ogg) play OK in XBMC.
The ripped DVD file plays OK in Movie Player, so there is no issue with the file itself.

I am running XBMC 9.11, RC1 on Ubuntu 9.10 (Karmic Koala), all updates applied.

I have upgraded to Camelot stable, 9.11, and this issue still remains.
