Has Camelot lost RAR support?
#1
Have a couple of RAR-packs that I have been able to play (without unpacking) using XBMC before, but now when I browse the folder, it looks empty (but it is not, the RARs are there).

What has happened?

1. "Latest" is NOT a revision, of ANYTHING!
XBMC, Platform: GNU/Linux. Built on Dec 24 2009 (SVN:26018)

2. Linux Distribution and Version (eg. Ubuntu 8.04, Gentoo 2007.0-r1, etc)
Kernel: Linux 2.6.31-16-generic #53-Ubuntu SMP Tue Dec 8 04:02:15 UTC 2009

3. Architecture (eg. i686, x86_64, etc. See below.)
Arch: x86_64

4. Install Method (PPA, RPM, build.sh, manual, other)
PPA

5. SVN Revision
SVN:26018

6. Detailed Instructions to Reproduce the Problem (The more specific the better.)
Browse to a folder with i.e. a DVD-rip packed into rar-packs. the folder will look empty.

7. FULL Debug Log (Please use your favorite paste site! See below.) << NOT OPTIONAL!
http://pastebin.com/m4596dc0b

8. Backtrace (Only attainable if XBMC has crashed. See below.)
N/A

9. Compiler Output (Only useful if XBMC doesn't build. See below.)
N/A

Hope that will do it! (If not, I assume you will let me know)

I also noticed a lot of problems with rar-ed iso's and rar-ed mkv's!

no. the difference is we now only support sane rarsets, i.e. stored/m0 ones. compressed rars causes tons of issues and is irrelevant for all but crappy "releases" done by kiddies without a clue.

Did you bother testing to check they weren't compressed?
