[Live] Gave Up Waiting For Root (9.11 final)
#1
I eagerly waited for the 9.11 repack and am now trying to install it on a fresh USB stick. The install went well, but now it wont boot.

The XBMC splash screen shows up with the spinny thing, then the screen goes blank.
When I press a key on the keyboard, I see this:

Code:
Gave up waiting for root device. Common problems:ae1bb0b13b9
  - Boot args (cat /proc/cmdline)
    - Check rootdelay= (did the system wait long enough?)
    - Check root= (did the system wait for the right device?)
  - Missing modules (cat /proc/modules; ls /dev)
ALERT! /dev/mapper/XBMCLive-root does not exist. Dropping to a shell!

BusyBox v1.13.3 (Ubuntu 1:1.13.3-1ubuntu7) built-in shell (ash)
Enter 'help' for a list of built-in commands.

(initramfs)

The live CD runs fine (I can demo XBMC)... Is there a problem with the installer?

I tried installing on a different USB stick and I still got the error.

Am I the only one experiencing this??

I had the same problem but then I decided to reinstall 9.11 reack from my usb key. This time instead of choosing the option to use LVM when it was setting up the hard drive I just chose "entire disk".

Now everything boots up fine. I am running this on the RevoAspire 3610.

Hope this helps
