Hi All,

Is anyone else having problems with rewinding and fast forwarding in mkv files?

I have some mkv files produced by MakeMKV. When I hit rewind, the counter does indeed start rewinding, however, the video fast forwards. When I hit play again, the audio starts (from the right place) but the video speeds up, and then starts stuttering. Sometimes it will resync once the audio catches up with the video, other times I have to stop and resume.

I moved from DVD ISO to MKV given the ISO rewind bug (does anyone know if this is getting any attention any more?). I now find myself in a situation where I can't rewind anything!

Anyone else seeing something like this. Any suggestions?

Just did a reformat of primary harddisc - fresh install of Windows 7, XBMC 9.11 Final install only.

Still has the same problem rewinding MKV files. Will log as bug report.

Someone on the TRAC ticket suggested disabling EDL. However, I understand the option to do this has been disabled in 9.11.

Does anyone know if its possible to turn off EDL in advancedsettings.xml or somewhere else?
