First off, thank you for such an amazing Media Center. Your hard work and passion really shows in such a quality product that, in my opinion, is better than anything else out there - paid or free.
WARNING: I am a complete noob to this, so I apologize for any facepalms or banging of heads against desks but I try not to ask the same question twice.
I'm running Leopard on Intel Mac Mini and XBMC Camelot Beta. I just upgraded to Camelot and now when I select ALBUMS under Music, XBMC crashes. I also added and deleted some files from iTunes so I think the problem is with iTunes/database rather than XBMC.
I am able to play music from a "Random Pick" from the main menu (using Aeon skin), which allows me to see the tracklisting, visualization works, track skipping works.
I am able to enter MUSIC Menu and select ARTISTS which lists the artist but if I click on an artist, XBMC crashes.
My only source is iTunes - all the mp3s are stored locally on the Mac Mini.
I have no technical skills whatsoever but I searched this forum and I think I found a solution for this on xbox - which is something to do with the music database, (my app doesn't freeze, it crashes, but it's also on a mac not xbox ->http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid...ash&page=3 - but I cannot find the same path on the Mac version of XBMC. I went through the Package Contents but I guess I either completely missed it or a different path is needed??
I will update this post with an errorlog. Thanks in advance!
[EDIT] Errorlog here: http://pastebin.com/m41523fa7 (I hope that is the right errorlog you need...)
So basically, I think I need to rebuild my music database in XBMC but I do not know how to do it. I have searched but obviously I am not clever enough to figure out how to find this instruction for Mac XBMC...
I did indeed search, please let me know if I just missed the instruction or something
