some things i mis in xbmc.

usb keyboard support (i didn't test this yet in the latest release, 1.1.0)

xml editor
web browser
- these last 2 i mis in all desktops i've tried so far, xebian does have them, but that's not really a desktop anymore... and my linux skills aren't verry great either

i kind of mis the application scan option that searches the hdd for xbe files, could be that this is replaced by something else i just can't find it would also be usefull to have this scan determine what xbe are games and what are other programms. maybe with some sort of fliter so applications and games get their own menu item in the applications dialog. but when selecting a hdd partition the filter doesn't apply so it still shows all applications and games sorted...
