From the messages I have come accross here and elsewhere, I got the impression that one can use XBMC as a client to stream a live TV stream (.ts) with DVB or teletext subtitles. I have made numerous searches and went through every single setting in XBMC, still cannot figure out how this could be done. I use DVBViewer recording service as a uPnP device and xbmc as a client via LAN (windows environment). I can successfully stream both free and encrypted channels but with no subtitles.

I would appreciate very much if somebody could give a hint how this could be done? Is it a special skin or plug-in or via hard coding?

When watching a .ts do this:

Press "V" for teletext and then teletextnr for you text or Meny "M" for dvb subtitles
