I downloaded the source and I'm currently trying to wade through the source code to find the part(s) relating to the video scraper but I'm having a hell of a time doing it.

I've never worked on a huge project like this before, so I'd appreciate any tips on working with a project like this.

the VideoInfoScanner.cpp calls NfoFile.cpp and utils/IMDB.cpp which uses utils/ScraperParser.cpp and utils/ScraperUrl.cpp.

there's nothing special to working on a big project as such. you typically have to find a thread, pull it and see where it takes you. eventually you begin to find things which are familiar
