Hi there!

I recently installed XBMC on my newly bought Mac mini 2.2 GHz and with 2 GB RAM.

Everything is working smoothly, but when I pause a movie, and then restart it after a short while, the movie starts in slow motion for about two seconds, before turning up to its normal speed. It only happens with the picture, not the sound. But with the picture, it's like turning on a movie projector that needs a few seconds to get to its speed.

Just wondering if that is an issue that could be fixed with a different setting maybe.

This happens to me too and it seems that sometimes after restarting the audio and video never get back in sync.

pretty sure this is normal, it resyncs the audio/video after pause. I don't think you miss any sound while it's resuming, as it slows the video until the audio catches back up.

you can try going into the playback settings, and change sync to display - with audio clock. see if that helps if it stays out of sync.
