Just thought I should post this with the TV development going on. Agrep provides fuzzy logic matching. I use it in mythicalLibrarian to match TV guide listings to theTvDb.
This could provide for scraping data from live TV episodes with nothing more then the data that XBMC currently has available. It can provide scraping when original air date is not available or inaccurate.
I've been working with agrep for a while now and it provides a pretty accurate match with the -B option. I don't know if it can be integrated into XBMC, but agrep is available on all platforms.
