I had my own compiled version of 12.1 installed. I completely removed it last night and have installed your 12.2 version (which installed great thanks). I'll see how it goes over the next few days.

hey guys,

since there are many forks in this thread: should I use akeze's or the fork of someone else for an windows version of xbmc 12.2

I'm trying to compile akezes master branch. i added the spotyxbmc folder into the visual studio project and the first errors I got are resolved. But now I still get some errors:

http://pastebin.com/1J4BBeC9

Since I'm not familiar with visual c++ or c++ at all. can somebody help resolving this issue? If everything complies fine I would create a pull request.

This one works just fine (12.2 windows): https://github.com/zebbe152/spotyxbmc2

You can also clean the log file and set it read only by windows. Mayby not the most preferable way, but then u can easy 'enable' it again when u need it again.

Hello.

Can someone help me? I tried to get this work in my windows 8 but still can't get this to work properly. I found some old executable that had XBMC Eden in it. That worked somehow, but would like to get 12.2 to work.

I tried some builds found in this thread but had no success.

Also tried to build the exe using some old instructions but those where very hard to understand.

Could someone do Step by step instruction on how to do this. So that everybody can do this?

This is getting a bit frustrating because I have seen it working but not quite there yet.

Thanks.
