Question
Hi,

When I go into video directory (on NAS over Samba) i miss *.img files. (ISO Images of DVD).
How do I get them shown (and played with some player)?

(I use XBMC on Windows)

Thanx for your help,

Hi,

That is exactly what I did... In the manual is written:
"These are the current default extensions for VIDEOS: .... .img .iso ..."
but the files are not listed...

I have created the Advancedsettings.xml with <videoextensions> tag... but XBMC still did not show them...

After these attempts I've decided to consult this forum...

Any other idea?

of what side?
Windows Explorer lists the files on NAS without any problems.
And all other types of videos are listed in XBMC normally.

@MickeyMiner: I've just tested the release version of v9.11 by renaming a couple of my DVD .iso files to .img. XBMC sees the files and plays then just like it does .iso files. This suggests the problem doesn't lie with XBMC.

I would try copying the .img from the NAS to a local disk and then see if XBMC will play it from a local disk.

Hi!

a bit embarrassing... Nerd
I was analyzing the log file and found following:
I was trying to stream the ISO image over DLNA.
After creating a new Samba connection the file is played correctly. Oo

Thank you for helping me!
