A petition is not a good idea. Many broadcasters only approve their own utilities and may not take kindly to non-official versions.

Unfortunately it seems to be broken again 
Both categories or "Programs A-Ö" do display the programs but does not lead you to the actual stream.
I guess SVT changed something again...

Can you elaborate on the problem and what version plus hardware you are using?
I'll create an issue ticket and start looking at the problem as soon as possible.

Anyone else notice svtplay is extremely slow the last couple of days? Ive had to set my bandwidth limit to 900 but more often it needs to be even lower.

I have had a lot of buffering in the last week, it's getting on my nerves. I'm not sure what to do aboutit but I'm glad I'm not the only one.
Could it be SVT being overloaded for some reason?

Im guessing that might be it.. since you and me both have the problem. is there a way to increase the buffer in the addon? I tried to find it but failed.

Same issue here but I doubt that SVT is the issue as the play services work fine in web browser and their apps. It seems something is not working using Kodi though. Running it in debug mode but can't see anything of interest in the logs.

That SVTplay works fine in a browser or in the SVTplay app is no indication of good behavior!
In a browser the user has visual cues as to what to do and the SVTplay app obviously does its own thing, most likely NOT through the website.
What the Kodi add-ons do is that they scan the SVT webpage code for certain markers where they pick up the data to be used inside Kodi.
And SVT is constantly changing their webpage code, so the add-on developers have to constantly update their code too to keep track of this.
A year ago I asked for an API for their play service such that a 3rd party interface could be developed with some stability.
But they were not interested in that.

That it works somewhere else is at least an indicator that the issue is not a too slow internet connection or some other weird connectivity issue.
I understand that there are differences, but when the addon is completely unusable while the flashplayer works, then I want to provide as many data points as possible to find a solution.
