In My XBMC setup when I play DVD ISO or VIDEO_TS and press rewind while playing it will actually forward. Display will show "rewind 2x" though.

-Other mkv files do rewind so I guess it is not a remote issue, which is confirmed by the "rewind OSD"
-I run 9.11 final on an Asrock 330. Files played from NAS using NFS
-Alaska skin installed, VDPAU enabled

I included pastebin. First Debug Log since I installed 9.11 final. I notice when debugging is enabled My screen no longer shows additional information on screen that shows debugging is enabled, so hope log is correct.

Too bad. As a workaround I can use my arrow keys to jump a little back.

[Noob mode] I appreciate all the hard work, and don't mean to be offensive with this question, but it looks like the ticket was opened 13 months ago. Is this something that is very hard to fix? I thought before 9.11 final went live that a big bug hunt was done. My perception was that all/most old bugs would be fixed. Just trying to understand the whole bug and release version system.

Again - I am only a user, who very happily uses what others make so keep up the great work and thanks aganin![/noob mode]

Its been a bug for about a year...

A dev finally was able to reproduce this a couple of weeks ago which is a good sign...

FYI: The lower REW speeds go FF, but the fastest speed (x32?) RW does actually RW...

Looking at the Trac someone says it was supposed to be fixed in a newer SVN but did not mention which version and the TRAC status hasn't changed.

I just installed svn26768 on my xbmc linux machine and the rewind bug is still there....

If anyon knows which build will fix this, please let us know - I love XBMC, but this bug really gets frustrating when you miss something in a movie and just need to rewind a little

me too, running SVN 27217 bug is still there.

I think the backspace key is a 10 sec jump backwards. I havent tried it in a DVD but its worth a shot.

Does anyone know if this issue has been resolved yet? It doesn't seem so, according to the ticket #5462 http://trac.xbmc.org/ticket/5462.

Will using DS Player help?
