Ok DONT know if i did this or what happend. But i went here
http://wiki.xbmc.org/?title=Advancedsett...pfilter.3E reading about that "skiploopfilter" thing (im not a hacker but very stubborn) haha. Anyway this is what i did.
1.Downloaded the "advancedsettings.xml" file from
/Library/Application Support/XBMC/userdata/advancedsettings.xml
2. I set the number from 8 to 48 (which means "Skip all frames" )
3. Rebooted the whole Apple TV
4. Went into settings -> video -> playback
5. In here a new option just came out of nowhere called "Use Pixelbuffer Objects" and so i selected it and now this movie plays actully 10 times better than before. Not ultra smooth but it is watchble and almost not noticeble.
The resolution may not be as in Quicktime but atleast i can watch it.
Dont know if i did this, i just took a chance... I have only tested one movie so far but i needed to just post. Will come back with update on this.
