My Setup currently at home is this, a Desktop computer connected to a 22inch monitor (Display #1) and a 46inch Sony Bravia (Display #2) xbmc loads fine to display number 2 and works like a dream, my issue is with a usb IR remote control its setup and working fine as well and controls the xbmc just fine, however if Someone on the computer changes the program focus to something else on the pc then xbmc no longer responds to the Remote Button Presses. as soon as you change the focus back to xbmc the remote works again.

Does anyone know of a way or a work around to have xbmc always respond to the remote button presses even if the focus has been changed off of the XBMC application. if anyone knows a solution i'd love to hear.

use eventghost! the xbmc plugin does not simulate keypresses and therefor there is no need to focus the xbmc window
