Playback failed on recent ATVUSB-creator
#1
Question
Hi,

I recently installed ATVUSB-creator (patchstick) along with XBMC. I've followed all the XBMC installation instruction to find my audio and video files on my VISTA machine. I am using UPNP to locate the files. Under network and sharing center i have enabled network discovery, files sharing and media sharing. Password protected sharing is off. in windows media player 11 I have added the relevant files to the library

when using XBMC on ATV i am able to "see" the audio and video files i have shared. So, when i goto audio, scroll to the particular song i want to play i get a playback failed error. I can confirm that the files are MP3 and work on itunes as well in WMP.

Here is the link for the debug log. as you will see, XBMC cant open the data stream and I have no idea why. maybe i am misreading the log?

Please help me get the media to play:confused2:

thanks

Just fyi, in case anyone stumbles upon this thread... In the end, I ended up using SMB and not using the UPNP route
