Modify Fanart lookup format?
#1
I'm having trouble getting fanart to show and I'm guessing it has to do with the file names of the fanart.

I used a program to generate NFO files for all my DVD rips. It also downloaded covers and fanart.

The fanart file name that was generated is in the format [movie].fanart.jpg, not [movie]-fanart.jpg that XBMC is looking for. Rather than renaming all the fanart files, is it possible to tell XBMC to look for the "dot" rather than the "dash?"

Thanks.

If you use a Bulk Renamer it'll be done in a few seconds.

I saw a Renamer program but I had reservations about using it. I have 2 Popcorn Hour for streaming video and its jukebox uses that fanart. My concern is that renaming the files would break links that the PCHs use, requiring more tweaking on that end.

I didn't know if there was simple line of code that could be changed that would prevent more work down the line.
