Just noticed this recently tried with various nightly builds and still have no sound with movies with AAC audio. No other changes to my setup since adding the Crystal HD card a couple of weeks back.

Anyone else experiencing this, any ideas apart from re-encoding the audio.

I already opened a ticket for AAC ang got bumped out. Apparently there is no driver for 6 channel AAC files so thing can be done
You can try downmixin to 2 channel if you have a pro logic decoder or re-encode in AC3
Besides the issue has nothing to do with crystalHD all 9.11 builds will play the same

Thanks for the heads up, I only have a couple of movies like this so ill just convert the audio.

For anyone else wanting to convert AAC to AC3 I found a simple piece of free software that worked well and was easy to use. Its called PopCorn MKV AudioConverter a Google search will find download links.
