I have the following remote that came with my Toshiba Qosmio laptop, that I never used. Just built a new Zotac machine and am hoping to use this, but alas, the last couple hours of searching/trial and error, have done me no good. If anyone uses this with LIRC or has any tips/info, I'd be grateful!

Shameless bump. Admittedly I'm fairly new to the linux world, I've been able to accomplish everything I needed up to this point. But LIRC is kicking my tail.

What kind of receiver do you have this this remote.
did you install lirc
after installing lirc you've tried irw?
etc.
