Theater Pack for Nuka1195's "Home Theater Experience" and "Cinema Experience" Scripts
#76
just made back to the future trivia slides....

Now making Jurrassic Park Q&A style slides....

what is the correct naming convention for question, multiple choice answer and the answerHuh

the ones i've seen have the question with the multiple choices on the same image.

any format you want though. i guess i would suggest.

PHP Code:
<slides mpaa="PG" theme="Jurassic Park | Steven Spielberg | Action | Adventure | Dreamworks">
    <
slide>
        <
question format="_[0-9]+Q\.jpg" />
        <
clue format="" />
        <
answer format="_[0-9]+A\.jpg" />
    </
slide>
</
slides

is simple

i added the extra theme and rating, for them it's anything someone may create a theme for (genre, director, movie title...)

unless someone can come up with a better way to organize contenet and have themes.

Wow, this is great. I come back after some hours and you already have the slides. I like your work and I love the revival of the home theater/cinema experience.

SlaveUnit Wrote:Your shitty attitude sure isn't earning you any points. I'm not sure where this "l33t" rich boy attitude comes from, but please take it elsewhere. I've never heard anyone else complain about clicking on a page and waiting 45 seconds. You seem to be the only one with this problem.

I'm sorry that not wanting to wait 45 seconds for every download makes me a 'l33t' rich boy. If I can't get it with curl, wget, deluge or sabnzbd, it's inconvenient. My HTPC is Live install. My laptop goes with me. I don't have the fastest internet so the easy solution, IMHO would be to set up a download and pause it at my convenience. Leaving it to do a majority of the downloading when I'm not home or asleep. Something you can't do with MegaUpload.

And as kaiser423 pointed out, torrenting RAR files just violates the entire way the protocol was written. Mainly because you can't pick and choose what you want and don't want. But also because it has error checking built in an automatically chunks what you want to transfer (like rar). There's no point to it.

I downloaded everything from MegaUpload. (And had to wait a day because I reached some magical limit). There was one file in part06 that would not pass CRC checking, but everything else came out fine.

It's being uploaded to Usenet as we speak, but here are all the RAR files in 50MB chunks. That way if your internet cuts out or you have to cancel the process, you aren't stuck starting all over.

Usenet is definitely going to be much faster than my internet host.

If you don't have Usenet and want to use cURL.
Code:
curl -O http://xbmc.exstatic.org/XBMC%20Home%20Theater%20Experience%20Script%20Media/XBMC%20Home%20Theater%20Experience%20Script%20Media.part[001-105].rar
There are also par files if someone thinks they may have gotten a bad rar and wants to rebuild.

Torrent of the raw files pending it getting moved to my seed box. Also going to see if I can figure out webseeding.

However isnt this half the reason why torrents themselves are rubbish, noobs using the protocol on public trackers only picking what they want and then not seeding. So when somebody comes to download the whole pack they cant as, the seeds online only have a percentage of the content?

Megaupload is a cheap subscription and yet holds more useful stuff than a 90 day retention on usenet?

Each to their own i guess, i know people that wait days for torrent to download and yet with megaupload i only wait a couple of mins!

Yes I would agree to each their own. I use torrents, megaupload, usenet (with 850 days retention) and other various places to get files from. The only issue I have is darkscout's insults to others prviding work that they have spent time on. If you don't like people's method of sharing offer your service or methods (as you have). But there is no need to add an insult for people not being able to afford things etc. I have a decent internet connections so right after your last comment I could say the methods being used are fine since I can grab items pretty quick. Also the fact that I have about 8 computers here in my house means I don't have to pause things to take a laptop with me. Now I could ask you why dont you have 2 laptops so you can do the same...is it because you can't afford one? Sound pretty lame doesn't it? Well, that's the same thing you are saying to others.
