Lip Sync Issue with Crystal HD Build r27394
#1
I'm able to play 720p file fine but the lip sync is way out, so much so that my onkyo 606 with audio delay can't adjust enough to keep up with it which is making it impossible to watch a movie.

Is this a common problem as SD stuff seems fine or do i have something in the options i haven't enabled?

thanks

It happens on some HD content. Mediainfo for that file would help, also you can try and adjust the audio offset under Audio Settings.

every time I have seen this issue it was -200ms

Cool, I am sure davilla would appreciate the debug log and Media info for that file. it helps trace where the problem is.

All HD (720) iplayer stuff seems to suffer from this as well.

I know that "Iplayer Stuff" can be downloaded. either provide debug log and Media info or please do not post useless "+1 its not working"

I so knew I was getting a slapped wrist for that post!

Hold up - just getting the debug and video info for you now...

Here is the log: http://pastebin.com/m3524d6c8

Here is the media info: http://pastebin.com/m69cd4d11

I was playing an HD file sourced with getiplayer across my local network, however playback is also similarly out of sync when playing the HD channel videos from the web using the iplayer video plugin.

(Just to confirm I'm using a v1 appletv with launcher 3.2.2 and SVN r27394)

fine, dont do it, but dont come bitching that its not working.

If it didn't have useful information it wouldn't have been asked for, but since you obviously know better, you are on your own.

Good luck

No, actually I am finding this very amusing. How far you will go to NOT help is just amazing.

You sat there typing all this useless posts, wasting everyone time, when you could just simply stick the media info and a debug log on pastebin and do something good for today. but I guess this way its easier.

First you can't download iplayer files on the ATV so no media info for you.
Second there are no errors and it is not loosing any frames as it shows from the debugging there is just an offset of 200 ms
Anyway so that you are happy I will post an xbmc log give me 10 minutes

Shoesy provided that, there must be a way, oh yes ... you download it to your computer. I can download it here as long as you post the debug log so that I can see what file it is.

you dint say that there is no error msgs in the debug, my bad for asking
