Download and run the DirectX installer from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/detai...2d8712d553 and see if that helps.

You can give the beta1 a shot.

A debug log on pastebin would give clues to help you.

Here's mine (see link below), I checked this with someone on the TV catchup forums and apparently there is something wrong with the video player but they weren't able to help. I am also having the same trouble with the YouTube plugin. Sound, but no picture.

The log is pretty clear, looks like you can't play any video, not only internet streams. There are two possibilities:
- DirectX is not properly installed (most likely, as it looks like the shader compiler is not installed). Get the latest (June 2010 I think) web install, if that fails try the full redist setup.
- Your hardware doesn't support Pixel Shaders 2.0. You're out of luck, unless you try the beta, which has a software render mode.

There also is some weirdness in the stream codec detection. I don't know how the plugin works, but the first try fails, the second appears to succeed and detect H264.

I checked the specs with Nvidia and apparently it supports pixel shader 3.0

I'll try getting the latest DirectX web install, if that yields results I shall post what happens. Thanks Again Smile
