[Windows] http://xbox/thumb.jpg Request Causing Crash
#1
I'm having an issue with the http://xbox/thumb.jpg request. I can pretty much send any command from the HTTP API, but as soon as I try to view that .jpg it shows me the current .jpg and then the system just stops responding. I haven't found if it is crashing XBMC completely or just it's http server (I'm connected remotely). Has anyone seen this or can anyone recreate it? I'm running Camelot on Windows XP.

I just got home and checked the system. XBMC was locked up. The RSS feed was stopped ant the time on the clock still showed 2:04 PM.

Interesting...This happened to me 3 days in a row, but now today it seems to be working fine. Does anyone have any clue what could be causing it to happen?

this is what you get when threaded code is written without the slightest regard to thread safety.

spiff, what do you mean by this. Are you saying it's an issue with the way the XBMC has been compiled for windows?
