Hi guys. I am realy stuck here...
I am looking to set the WORKGROUP STRING (as found in GUISETTINGS.XML) via a PYTHON script.
I have tried to over-write the file by hand, no-go.
I have tried to set the string, no go.
What am I supposed to do to set this via a python script? I have multiple workgroups on my network and depending on the environment (IP gateway), I would like to set this myself (Automatically)...
I have also installed the smb package (Allthough I would not like to do this, to keep the installation clean) and set the /etc/smb/smb.conf WORKGROUP manually, but the XBMC interface does not update the GUISETTINGS file
So, now I sit with multiple workgroups viewable, where I would only like to see one...
