Video lost after channel change!
#1
Hi

I recently bought a Nvidia GT220, but have only had problems with it.
The GT220 is hooked up with a hdmi to my surround receiver, and I use the receiver to switch between watching tv, playing ps3 and using my htpc with xbmc.

But now when I start a movie, change to TV, and then back, there is no video or audio, just a black screen, and the movie continues to play (no v/a)
The problem is definitely XBMC's, since it doesn't occur when playing video in VLC.

Also, when I let the computer sit in xbmc a while, it starts lagging, really lagging!
The RSS feed at the bottom moves a millimeter per second. And the whole computer is terribly slow, until I quit XBMC.

XBMC even hang when updating the library, but just once. Restarted xbmc, and updated library fine.

All this could be Windows 7 incompatibility with XBMC, I dont know!

Any help is greatly appreciated!

My specs:
Asus M2V (or something like that, onboard hdmi not in use now)
AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+ 2,2 Ghz (AM2)
2GB Geil ddr2
500gb sata drive
Nvidia Geforce GT220 HDMI onboard audio
Running Windows 7 Pro

I can update the library when not in library mode, but once I am in library mode, it hangs the second I select update library in the context menu!

If I just could get sound on my Nvidia GT220 in linux... then I could install the Live version instead!
