Windows Home Server support?

My living room HTPC runs XP. I originally built a piece-mill media server but found it was inadequate. Now I stream media from my HTPC to my bedroom and office. The problem is hard drive backs among other things. My two tera drives are completely full. I am gonna add two more tera drives and considering my options. I don't need a separate server if my HTPC does the job.

Can XP be upgraded to WHS and can I still run XBMC?

I dont think an upgrade to WHS is possible at all.

When you install WHS it formats all your hard drives (to add them to the Drive Extender), so be careful when you install it.

but you have to go for a clean install and XBMC should run on WHS as long as you find drivers for your video card
Hardware: Revo 3610 + SSD - Harmony 700 Remote
Software: XBMCBuntu Gotham - Sickbeard - SabNZBd+
