TrueHD/AC3 outputting to 2 channel
#1
hey guys, wondering if i could get some help.

Ive got alot a bunch of new blu-rays that i have ripped.

Now, DTS-HD audio works fine, outputting to DTS. But come to TrueHD/AC3 audio, it just outputs pcm 2 channel.

In xbmc, it comes up that it is DD 5.1, but, its still only outputting it to 2 channel pcm.

Anyone know why this would be happening?

heres the log. its driving me insane. nothing seems to be working.

Your not alone with this problem...

I've spent the whole weekend trying to get more than 2 channels PCM via HDMI and nothing....Huh

So for the time being, think I'll settle with encoding my BD rips with both full PCM and DTS audio streams for when this gets fixed...

'gnif'...any ideas on timescales?

No timescale, just be patient. There are a lot of audio features going in at the moment.
