after having no luck resolving my random rebooting issue on the appletv with linux, I've reinstalled the atv o/s and all is going well

well, all except that for some reason there is no "server" option under my network settings to turn on FTP. There is a "services" option, but nothing in any settings field to turn on ftp or anything to do with ftp.

I'm running r27500 with the latest alaska pulled from git.

is it a skin issue?

if im correct there was never a service "ftp" option under macos.

i installed instead the samba server for apple tv to transfer files over.

I was sure that it did have ftp at some stage. Oh well, I've just installed pure-ftpd for appletv and all is well with the world
