I did similar for myself in Aeon so thought I'd mention a couple of things, if you want a lot of thumbs then I used "Bulk Image Downloader" with its firefox plugin using the site below you can grab all the actual large images behind the thumbs in one go instead of having to click each thumb to get the larger image

The good thing about multiimage you don't have to label them thumb1.jpg, thumb2.jpg, etc unless you want them to scroll in a particular order but even then I found I had to use thumb001.jpg, thumb002.jpg, etc

It would be cool if there was scraper in XBMC that pulled these images from the site and downloaded them, don't you think?
