I'm currently looking for a lightweight Netbook / Laptop for around £500 that will be used solely for watching movies on. I basically want it for long haul flights 9 - 11 hours for the plane. The Acer time line series touts 8 hour battery life so I was thinking of the 3810TZ (see website below) plus a spare six cell battery.

Should I be considering any other brands in that price range?
