The problem with Aura is that it's too common amongst themes etc. Basically, let's go over the key points of the theme, it might help us:
  • Shifts colours gradually over the space of an hour.
  • Has 24 cycles per day.
  • Has a smooth colour burst pattern from the centre.

The theme is finished, were just brain storming it's label in the settings menu. Free time is short, development is slow, patience is a virtue! Ellipsis will be complete in the end and it will be worth the wait.

I think 'Quantum' is a good idea.

What do you think?

1.1

- New Sound Scheme Added.
- Added to XBMC Official Skins SVN.

---

I've designed the Add-On windows, and working on the remaining view types. This morning I have realised that the view types are very important and we're going to add as many as we can to the skin, the best of the best, so if you have a favourite view type from another skin, let us know, we'll try our best to put it in. Version 1.2, which is the next release with all these changes, may not have ALL the view types finished, but it will be XBMC compatable and should have the add-on windows done. Then 1.3 will be massive view type overhaul. More as it happens.

Very Nice.

I will catch that, definitely! :-)

I like these Viewtypes:

For TVshows:
*Small-Banner-View (Backrow-Skin)
*Big-Banner-View (Backrow-Skin)

For TVshow-Episodes:

*List-View with a Large Episode-Thumb

For Movies:
*Clear Fanart View, without anything included (maybe the movie-title is coming after a delay-time from any side, nice transition while moving)
*Large List View (Aeon65)
*List 4 (Backrow-Skin)
*Wheel-View with larger Cover (Minimedia)

Greetings,

Woohoo! I love the skin but the lack of view types has held me back from using it all the time.

As for view types: the multiplex view from Aeon Showmix is one that I like.

The updates are looking quite sleek and polished. I cannot wait to give it a test-drive. It looks pretty damn impressive.

As for views, I found the absolute best views of any skin can be found in the BIG Alaska mod. The banner and poster combination views are fantastic. In particular, I like how the skin detects poster, banner, and landscape pics in the directories. It makes for more available views. I highly recommend checking it out if you are looking at adding views into the next update.

Looking great. With regards to view types please don't forget the music section. Its always the forgot soul on these skins and something I for one use the most.

I like the 'record' look but would prefer something sleeker and less 'up and down' when you scroll.
