Hi

I tried to upgrade my Crystal HD on my ATV which is running Linux.

all the SD movies work fine but when i try to open up an HD movie the screen just blacks out and i a have to reboot the machine.

My XBMC version is r28256

here is the paste log from xbmc.log :

ssh in and "sudo demsg"

also crashreporter.log might show interesting bits.

EDIT: opps "running Linux", no crashreporter.log there.

nothing after downloading firmware, how about the full xbmc.log from startup to black screen.

when you say "tried to upgrade my Crystal HD" what do you mean ?

i downloaded from here:

svn checkout http://crystalhd-for-osx.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/ crystalhd-for-osx-read-only

compiled it
autoconf
./configure
make
make install

no errors
reboot

and than it did not work anymore

Before it was working same way

yes, should not use above r26 from crystalhd-for-osx svn trunk. under construction.
