I have a fresh install of everything:
- 3.0.2 @TV firmware
- XBMC r28256
- CrystalHD installed via Launcher

I am seeing lots of frame drops on 1080p content, and occasionally on 720p content.

I have another appleTV in the house that is currently running 3.0.1 - that does not have as noticeable issues...

Is it possible that 3.0.2 is causing these issues? I don't recall if there was a thread about 3.0.2 instability before the 'lightning strike' -- but wanted to start this discussion again..

I had issues with XBMC crashing on 3.0.2 but I think it might have been due to conflicts with transmission
In any case I am still on 3.0.1 but 3.0.2 seemed to offer better not worse performance with NAS streaming of 720p

I can confirm 3.0.2 is actually better for streaming from NAS and XBMC works fine
For who is using transmission everything is ok if you switch to 1.75
