i think it would be a great idea to write a small program for os x (or windows too, i guess) where you can control xbmc over your network from a small application/script in the task bar. i use my xbox media center as the main music storage box, so it would be great to be sitting at my desk writing a paper and just give a click than having to find my controller. just a thought, might be easier with gentoox though
