Forgive my noobishness here.

I just installed XBMC on my WHS. Everything is working fine, except....
Everytime I try to play a movie (.avi divx whatever) it stops after 30-60 seconds. It plays fine up until that point, and I think the timer may even keep going, but the image freezes. If I back out, and resume play it will play for another 30 or so sec.

This is all through onboard video (ati 3100)

Any suggestions?

I know this used to happen a lot. Maybe try a newer SVN nightly build.

this used to happen to me....i had 1 server and 1 htpc in the other room...my problem was that the 2 computers were not on the same workgroup on the network...not sure if this helps
