Hi, I've just setup an Acer Revo for my parents with XBMC live on it. I'm now looking for a remote control that will work out of the box with the live distro...

can anyone please help..... it's driving my insane reading every remote posting

mce compatible remote, original xbox remote with usb adaptor.

and surprisingly it works it of the box. limited tho, it doesnt have an info button which i really wanted and im really struggling to find how to give it one, or map one to my logitech harmony

I just recently picked up an Acer Revo and remote.

The remote I got was:

Works straight out of the box. Only downside it likes to turn on my Xbox360 if I hit the power button.

I just taped over the sensor on the xbox with the face plate off. Works great.

You can also turn off the xbox 360 wakeup in its settings

Back, info and big green ms logo work. I have my Harmony mapped to it finally.
