Hi guys. I have a ION Asus AT3N7A-I board. It has been working with XBMC on Ubuntu Karmic Kuala.

The thing is i wanted at first windows 7 but then someone told me that the ION on windows wouldnt play 1080p as it does on linux with VDPAU.

So my question is, is there already any way of having HW decoding on windows?

We urgently need a wiki article on this.

Yes, download a recent development build from mirrors.xbmc.org, or wait for the release on v10.5 (in May) and it will play 1080p on Windows 7.
