I've noticed with live(camelot) installed to a usb key(2gb) on a zotac ion with 2gb ram. That sometimes when I'm browsing the library, or getting ready to play a show, xbmc becomes unresponsive. usually after a little bit it comes back and starts to work again. This is rather irritating however since when something is playing its fine. I've even turned off the library updates and do that manually now, and the issue is still random, but not as common. I also added a second 1gb ram stick to bring the system to 2gb, and turned off swap as i thought that might be the issue.

Should I go so far as to update xbmc from svn? Are there bug fixes I'm missing running a vanilla live installed to disk?
