Hello,

Are there any global hotkeys to control XBMC? (while the window does not have focus).

I would really like to run XBMC on a 2nd monitor to playback music/videos while I game on the primary display. Any help would be appreciated!

There are plenty of hotkeys when the window has focus... Search the wiki for those.

Not sure about when it's out of focus. Maybe you could use eventghost's XBMC plugin?

No. However you can do this using HIP, http://www.byremote.com.au/HIP/, as it can intercept keystrokes and direct them to a particular application even when it doesn't have the focus.
